An atheist tackles the Heraklean task of trying to make the Bible fun to read! Let's face it. Though the majority of people believe that the Bible is "the word of God," and therefore should be read regularly, many of those same people don't actually DO it. It's not surprising, though. The Bible is a daunting book to read. It's long, very repetitive, and at times offensive to modern sensibilities. That's why I wrote this book. I wanted to try to make the Bible.
